Instruction
Instruction can be given to Individuals, or as a Group. Courses are regularily schedule for Computer Use, United States Research, Foreign Research (some given in native language), Internet Research, Personal Ancestral File,
Roots magic, Legacy, Writing Personal Histories, Census Research, and new FamilySearch.
Individual Help
Patrons can come to the center and ask for help and suggestions on their research. All members of the staff are trained to assist patrons, or find the help that they may need. We have specialist that work with patrons in Foreign research, that can help them understand how to research most countries in the world.
Tours
Ogden Regional Family History Center welcomes Tour Groups from Wards and Stakes. If you have a group wanting to tour or use our Facilities, please contact us at: 801-626-1132. Please provide the Name of the Group, a contact person, their phone number, the size of the group.
Ogden City Cemetery Tour
Each year in June the Ogden Regional Family History Center sponsors a walking tour of a portion of the Ogden City Cemetery. Individuals dressed in period atire give the life histories of individuals that are buried there. All donated proceeds are given to the Ogden City Cemetery for restoration of Headstones.
Ogden Family History Conference
In September of each year the Ogden Regional Family History Center organizes a Family History Conference. Speakers and Presenters are selected to give current information on topics relating to genealogy. Past Subjects have included New FamilySearch, Computer Software, U.S. Research, Foreign Research, etc.
Special Projects
We have individuals that can help individuals that are remote from our center to do local research, or take a photograph. Monthly Newsletters
Our personnel prepare a monthly newsletter to be sent to all who have e-mail addresses and who want to keep abreast of changing family history techniques or training opportunities. Simply send us your e-mail address and we will begin sending you the newsletter. (Newsletters)

We have individuals that can come to your wards and stakes for a variety of family history situations–Sacrament Meetings, Firesides, Youth Groups, Priesthood or Relief Society . We provide training for every kind of group from scouts to youth groups to priesthood leaders and to any special needs group.
